Robin Kimmerer

Robin Wall Kimmerer is a renowned author, scientist, and professor. She is best known for her book Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants, which explores the intersection of indigenous knowledge and scientific understanding of the natural world. She is also the author of Gathering Moss: A Natural and Cultural History of Mosses. Kimmerer is an enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Environmental Biology.
